Information which is already available from other people's research.

Secured loan

A loan where security collateral is given like the using your Business Premises. Secured lending is viewed to carry less risk than unsecured lending and interest rates are usually lower to reflect this.

Server

A powerful computer on a network that acts as a store for data and software. It can also control access to workstations, printers and other parts of the a companies network.

Shareholders

Own the company by holding shares in it. In a private company they may also be the directors. In a public company they can include members of the public who have bought shares through a market such as the stock exchange.

A company that is over half owned by its parent company.

Suppliers are businesses that supply other businesses with materials.
