Underwriter

A person who signs on behalf of a company on an insurance contract where the underwriters are those who agree to bear all or part of the risk in return for the premium payments.

Universal serial bus (USB)

A coomnly used way to plug printers and cameras etc into a PC. USB is cabled in a daisy-chain fashion and up to 127 devices can be supported from a single USB connection.
